You can request your DanaLaju account be deleted at any time. This page explains how.

How to request account deletion
Email [email protected] from your registered email address, with:
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- The last four digits of your MyKad (for identity verification)
- Reason for the request (optional — helps us improve our service)
What happens next
After identity verification, we will:
- Deactivate your account within 21 business days, and send a confirmation email.
- Delete data not required by law — including marketing preferences, app usage logs, device fingerprints, and notification tokens.
- Retain data required by Malaysian law — including loan records, payment transactions, and eKYC images for 7 years, in line with the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and financial reporting obligations. This data will not be used for any other purpose.
Active loans must be settled first
If you have an outstanding or active loan, your account cannot be deleted until the loan is fully settled. Please contact our support team if you need assistance settling an active loan.
Other options
If you only want to stop receiving notifications but do not wish to delete your account, you can:
- Disable notifications in your device settings
- Email [email protected] to opt out of marketing communications
